How to Book Your Tattoo with John Biswell

All tattoo appointments are booked exclusively through this website 24/7. I work by appointment only in a quiet, private tattoo studio in Portland, Maine, offering original flash tattoos designed and executed with precision and care.

✒️ Booking Process

  1. Browse the Flash Collection
    Every flash design is hand-drawn and ready to tattoo—no edits, no revisions, no consultations required.

  2. Select Your Design & Time
    Flash tattoos are sized for arms and legs only (no knees, elbows, ribs, or torsos). Each listing includes price and estimated tattoo time.

  3. Book Online with Deposit
    A deposit is required to reserve your appointment and is collected during the online booking process.

  4. Confirmation Email
    After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email with everything you need to know for your session.

💳 Payment & Policies

  • Deposits are non-refundable and required to book your appointment. The amount is applied toward the final cost of your tattoo.

  • Final payment can be made via:
    • Cash (preferred)
    • Venmo
    • Credit/debit (via the website at time of booking)

  • Merchandise (prints, flash, apparel) is only available for purchase through the website.

✅ Before Your Appointment

To make sure you're ready and comfortable:

  • Eat a solid meal beforehand — no empty stomachs.

  • You must be 18+ with a valid government-issued ID. No exceptions.

  • Dress appropriately for access to the tattoo area. Loose-fitting, dark clothing is best.

  • Please arrive on time. If you're running late, email as soon as possible.

🔒 Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for rescheduling.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours may result in loss of your deposit.
